Colon Hydrotherapy
Hydration, Evacuation & Rejuvenation!
What is Colon Hydrotherapy and why do we need it?
Colonic, Colon Cleansing, Colonic Irrigation, High Enema, and Colon Hydrotherapy are some of the many titles for colon cleansing.
The colon is a muscle and colon therapy help to stimulate and exercise this muscle. If not stimulated and exercised, muscles become sluggish and not work at an optimum level. You should eliminate after every meal, otherwise your colon is not working efficiently, and you become constipated. Toxins and waste remaining too long in the intestines feed harmful bacteria, causing putrefaction and fermentation, which can cause symptoms such as gas, bloating, headaches, fatigue, and skin problems. These poisons can also be reabsorbed into the system and cause auto intoxication (self-poisoning) which can lead to more serious health problems.
Soothing Waters Colonics provides colonic irrigation services to those interested in a gentle, relaxing method for cleansing the Colon (Large Intestine). Clients choose Colon Hydrotherapy when challenged with constipation, alternating constipation and diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, and other distresses of the intestinal tract. Some use the therapy as a support for detoxification programs, or when medically indicated, such as a colonoscopy preparation and before radiologic or endoscopic examinations. Colon cleansing is not a cure, but can be a valuable means of “maintenance” for a wide variety of different health challenges.

What will colon hydrotherapy do for the colon?
The following can be accomplished during and after a colon cleanse: 1. Cleanse the colon: Toxic material is broken down so it can no longer harm your body or inhibit assimilation and elimination. Even debris built up over a long period of time is gently, but surely removed, by the process of a series of sessions. Once impacted material is removed, your colon can begin to operate as it was intended to. In a sense, a colonic is a rejuvenation treatment. 2. Exercise the Colon Muscles: The buildup of toxic debris weakens the colon and impairs it functioning. This gentle filling and emptying of the colon improve peristaltic (muscular contractions) activity by which the colon naturally moves material. 3. Reshape the Colon: When problem conditions exist in the colon, they tend to alter its shape which in turn causes more problems. The gentle action of the water, coupled with the massage techniques helps to eliminate bulging pockets of waste and narrowed, spastic constrictions finally enabling the colon to resume its natural state. 4. Stimulate the Reflex Points: Every system and organ of the body is connected to the colon by corresponding points. A colonic stimulates these points, thereby affecting the corresponding body parts in a beneficial way.
Our Equipment
Our center only uses medical grade disposable one-time use speculum kits. The Closed System is FDA registered for colon cleansing, meets FDA sanitation requirements, and safety as Class 2 medical equipment.
Our new state of the art colon hydrotherapy unit employs multi-stage water purification systems and individual disposable speculum kits that eliminate any possible contamination to the client. We use only the “Closed System”, so waste is discreetly transported into the drain line without offensive odor and without compromising the dignity of the individual. The FDA registered equipment features temperature-controlled water mixing and back flow prevention valves, pressure and temperature sensors, and a built-in chemical sanitizing unit and/or water purification unit.
